You are very lucky to find those as nice as they are! I hear they can fetch up to $1000 in mint condition.

Those emblems are super nice, discrete but let the world know what's under your hood. I got a 454 emblem used on less than 150 GMC Sprint SP models for use on my LeMans grille. I suspect that 427 emblem you have was used on less than 30 full sized Pontiacs and Safaris.

Original usage of 454 emblem on GMC:

My usage on LeMans.

What's the biggest engine option on a 1970 2+2 ?

Is a 454 an option available for your car?

 Yes

345 hp LS4 & 390 hp LS5 454's were available in the 1970 Canadian Pontiac full size cars.

Here's a nice off topic.....the LS4 was a single exhaust standard rating while LS5 came with dual. All GM Canada literature has a foot note that reads; Add 15% with dual exhaust. So if I ordered the LS4 with N10 dual exhaust option I'd have a combo that according to GM Canada would be 387 HP.

They look perfect on your Beaumont. smile

Given how rare they are, I would always be worried about them being a theft item. God forbid if they were damaged or destroyed in a fender-bender. It might be a lasting legacy to benefit Canadianponcho fans if you commissioned some reproductions of them. Dale's Musclecar Parts in Bracebridge, Ontario has a bunch of reproduction Beaumont emblems that aren't available anywhere else. I don't know where he gets them done but there used to be a place called Accufab that did the Beaumont emblems. I believe that is where Dale got them from (you would have to ask him). Accufab also recast boat nameplates; I believe that is where they got started in the business. I have not seen Accufab in business for maybe 10 years.

.......Dale's emblems are perfect and have GM part nos. on the back so he must have a license........bought all new emblems for our

67 Beaumont and they look great........expensive but probably cheaper than having the originals re-done.....I have noticed when old

emblems are re-done they lose some definition.

I would do that if it is that important

let me know how & who's going to be the contact on this site.

I don't know Dave, but I would like to buy the "SD" & Beaumont

trunk emblem from him some day.

I would be willing to take them off if Dale initiates that he would

reproduce them in a timely manner.

let me know

thx.

Old 2015 thread

bzbaz63 hasn't been on the site sine 2018...

Best to send him a personal message and ask about the emblems that way.
