That's a nice looking car but the statement "car is all there no pieces missing " is misleading. There is no sign of a factory tach (quite a valuable item on this car) and the side trim is not 65 Custom Sport.

If it's a good solid car, it would be a fun convert to have as a driver but a purist would want to see it trimmed as a CS if it really is one.

I'm with Carl on this one regarding side trim. A true '65 CS has the most gorgeous rocker trim of darn near any '60's car.

Not knocking it, but you need to really look at these cars with a fine tooth comb. The paint is an incorrect hue, top ripped, guaranteed Bondo in the lowers, missing the rarest and most expensive trim makes this a driver at best.
A lot of nice easy cruisin to be had outta of this car, but would cost MEGA CASH to take to top level. I've seen top level 65's for sale for under $18-20K, which may sound expensive, but compared to restoring the car in the ad, it's way less than 50%.

In the 65 custom sports the round thing ahead of the shifer is the clock and where the clock normally would be is a vacuum gauge. The tach rode on the left of the speedo in its own really nice chrome housing.

The vacuum gauge I think only came on the 65 custom sport and in no american model so is quite a rare piece.

This car seems to have maybe been a parisenne originally.

I tend to agree with Ken and others on this, not originally a Custom Sport optioned Parisienne, keeping in mind all Custom Sports are Parisiennes in this era. At least we can all agree that its not all there as ad suggests.

It's sure hard to tell but when I try to blow up the picture of the dash (quite fuzzy) it almost looks like a vacuum gauge in the right side pod.
