1966 Pontiac Beaumont Sport Deluxe Convertible for sale

Well after 35 years I have decided its time to part with my 1966 Pontiac Beaumont Sport Deluxe convertible.

One of only 57 ever built. This was the July 2010 Feature Car on the Canadian Poncho website.

I'm the second owner. When I purchased the car in 1979 it had 1968 license plates on it with just over 12,000 miles,

it now has 17,899 original miles. This car is a true survivor, 100% rust free, and never winter driven, a super time capsule.

It still has the original bakes and spare tire in the trunk. I wont say this car is perfect after all it will be 50 years old next year.

If you are looking for a true 1966 Pontiac Beaumont Sport Deluxe convertible survivor you will not find another one like it on this planet.  I have attached some pictures i took a few weeks ago and if you have any further interest PM me and I will get back to you quickly with any further information you require. I can also be texted at 2894079144.

My Dad so wants this car - forget the $60 million prize, $35,000 would be enough to get this home for him - I think our current situation just isn't good enough to bring it home tomorrow

Consider it a nice replacement for your college fund.

It must have been hard for you to see it go ... what a beautiful car!!

If not me, a few of our NS, NB Canadian Poncho friends might see it around.

It would have been hard but this car was a dream for the new owner and I'm confident that the new owner will keep it as original as possible and the car will live own well after I'm gone.

I'm happy for you that you sold it (I guess!) and glad it went to a good home. It would be a shame to waste a rare opportunity to preserve such a special Canadian Pontiac. I shudder to think of it being modified.

Congrats on the sale. Looking forward to seeing the car in person. Not sure who purchased it but I know most of the Beaumont hoarders.

It is kind of bittersweet for you I would imagine. You hate to see it go after all these years, but you are relieved that it went to enthusiast whose dream has been fulfilled. With such a rare car and so few originals that end up losing all the little details in the name of expediency I hope that car doesn't get modified because you did such a great job of preserving it the way they were made.

Pass the torch!

He's a friend of mine, he told me about 5 years ago he was looking for one of these, I didn't know how rare they are. I saw your ad and the rest is history. It looks like a perfect car and it should be kept as is, not restored.

I would expect him to treat this car like you did.

Just realizing how small the Beaumont community really is, I would ask that for any one that knows who might of purchased my car keep it confidential for a week because the car is on its way to its new home and I think its only right that the new owner has the opportunity to announce to his family and friends of his new treasure. I know you would all appreciate the same being done for you.

I'm the lucky NS owner and I love this Beaumont. My first ever car was a 66 Beau. (bought in 1976) and I had always wanted to find a 66 convertible. I feel so lucky to have this one (thanks to my friend who found it on the net) and the previous owner who was so cooperative...and kept it in amazing original condition. It only goes out of the garage on perfect weather days and it works "like a top". It will never be modified as long as I own it. I'd like to meet someone who has one of the 57 that were built in 66 - that might be as original - but I have not found one. I am not one to frequent car shows but at some point I expect to share it locally.
