love that new floor assembly very nice part is it complete with all the braces? post car pretty rare

Goodmark floor with all braces and captured nuts but does not have inner rockers , I bought them separate.

Inner rockers installed on floorpan. The pan was placed on the new frame and the body was lowered on it  and adjusted to fit. This is not a one man job. The body mounts were lined up and bolted. The pan is ready for welding.

Is this the first time you've done this Randy? If so, it seems like the most logical way, as opposed to welding the floor panels etc. on the body and then dropping it on the frame afterward ... which I've seen done.

First time for a full floor and trunk pan. I have done a few rocker panels and stuff like that.

Today I started welding the floor pan in place and ran out of wire for the welder. So I switched gears and started on removing the trunk pan. Got the new pan fitted and the body back on the frame with all mount bolts in and tightened.

Good job, thank god for re-production parts.They save lots of cars. The two post hoist looks like the way to go. I am looking to buy a hoist and was thinking which would be better, drive on or two post. This thread solved it.

Trunk drop offs installed. A little fab work on the rear wheel tubs. Kick panel and toe board repair is dry fit and ready to weld on drivers side.

Wow. fast work. what brand of trunk drops did you use? The first set I ordered were not even close then I got a set from AMD and they were near perfect

Not sure what brand they are. I bought them at Ausley's last year. They needed a bit of modification to fit.Ausley's use 3 different suppliers for panels including amd.

Making a living and Christmas slowed progress a bit. All welding finished. Lots of grinding and butt welds sealed with short strand.

I have a question about the floor pan. A friend of mine has a number of Beaumonts and Chevelles. He tells me there is no one piece pan from firewall to tailight panel but your's looks to be one piece. Is it, or did you weld a trunk piece and a floor piece together?

Two separate pieces. I think a one piece is available for Camaro but not chevelle. Actually quite pleased how the toe boards floorpan and trunk pan fit together.

Ok thanks, I'll tell him. We went over all your pictures and thought maybe we could see where you had welded at the front of the trunk but we weren't certain.
