10 year old paint fumes on glass


i have  to remove  those  paint  fumes  left on  the  glass of my  car   when it was painted (  by  a clumsy painter )   in  2004

what  would  be  ideal  to  remove those fumes  thanks

Make sure it's a brand new razor blade, with the lettering on the wrapped side facing toward you. That's the best edge, and use soapy water as a lubricant. If you drop the blade, throw it away and get a new one to avoid scratching the glass.

This is the correct way......don't use steel wool. I use to tint windows for a living years ago.

i have this question , using a razor blade , do you mean the blades that you can buy with the scrapper handle used to remove paint off a window ?? they are chrome finish chrome finish

if i use a real razor blade what do i use as a holder ??

Here's a couple of photos. This little blade holder came from Home Hardware or Home Depot. These are the blades I buy. Don't buy cheap blades. They WILL scratch your surface! You may be able to buy smaller quantities. Load your blade in so the embossed letters and numbers face up towards you when you are using it.
