The 1967 Sport Deluxe find, was a 10 year labor-of-love search and 396-M21-411's hardtop had just entered ON. from SK.

- before the internet, was at everyone's buying fingertips...

I got my feet wet, buying nine '67 Custom models earlier (aka "A" body obsession) - before the elusive SD and I, finally crossed paths

& 4 weeks later, seller ink was transferred onto the ownership. No cruise nights back than, so I drove car to work daily...all one summer.

- drive train was tired, but I still enjoyed every minute / walking up to the classic muscle car lines

- jumping into the strato bucket seat, looking down at the factory tach. & over the bumps on the BB hood,

while the Hurst 4 speed handle, always felt right - clutch pedal in / turn key / rev-rev. / natural RUSH...Priceless !!

^^ Understandably, the SD will be gifted to our adult son (one day) / he knows its a big-big part of me & stays in the family.

We now have a 65 Malibu S/S & 67 Beaumont SD to auto body restore together.

- goals closer now, with a 1200 sq. ft. garage, currently under construction on our country property

Only took a decade to locate and buy, this SD from Western Canada.

- they almost become part of ones DNA - and very few nice examples, ever offered for sale now

In tow - after 27-28 years, of insulated storage.
