Fan belts for BBC

well, trying to figure out what size fanbelts I require for my BBC installation. Of course no listings in any australian manufactures as we didn't have big blocks. Accessories are 1972 vintage, came from a 72 chev kingswood wagon. Has air, p/s, high mount alternator LHS looking at motor from front, low mount P/S pump on RHS looking from front. Triple balancer pulley, double P/S, A/C high mount RHS looking from front, tall water pump.

any ideas on sizes And how many? Thanks.

If we could "see" the engine, we might help more...

We can get you any size belt

'Do you have any belts you could put around the pulleys, and then measure, and guestimate to get a closer size...

Nice one carl! I was googling till my fingers bled. Did not come up with this mob but found similar pic but not my setup. Will post a pic. All accessory mounts are standard just slightly blingier...is that actually a word?.....

I can get you GM part numbers (and possibly lengths) from the GM parts book. Would that help?

Thanks carl, lengths and widths would be great! The ac compressor mounts above the ps pump off the head

I got sizes, that will help more than old obsolete GM numbers.

Alternator without A.I.R. (pollution pump) is 3/8" X 45 1/2"

Power steering is 3/8" X 41"

Air compressor is 15/32" X 48" (I believe this belt also goes around the other groove in the power steering pump if I am remembering correctly. I didn't look at a diagram but I can check that if you like. It would make sense that it does though, it uses the ps pump pulley as an idler of sorts.

Thanks carl! The parts houses in oz get confused and start talking i know everything BS when you tell them BBC and give them GM part numbers for motors not originally available in australia, then try and sell you the completely wrong thing and argue the point. I went in and asked for some SBC valve cover gaskets at a couple of places and they said we don't stock them, not many people use SBC...wah?

Hopefully that helps. If that doesn't do it, let me know and I can dig further.

If I ever fly over the ocean, you're place is my first stop Philip. However, the way it's looking, this new house project is going to wipe me out $$$$$$
