I've noticed the 69's have become a topic of discussion on the site as of late.  So thought I'd throw one more into the group.  Some of you may remember I picked up a 70 2+2 out of the bush a few years back, unfortunately it was a little to far gone to be worth the work putting it back together.  It did sit in my yard for that whole time waiting.....I bought a red 69 Strato Chief also, that info is on the other post.  This past summer found me another that I determined to be "The one".     

All the 2+2 parts from the 70, Including the console and dash, Disc brakes, swaybars, etc all made it on to the green Chief over the summer and fall.  With the 454/400 in it now, it was worth every skinned knuckle and every unmentionable word that came with it.   I'm in the process of getting together all the upgraded suspensions parts for it and the body mount kit is waiting as well.  I have been looking over the 17" Pontiac Rally wheels that some of the parts repro people have now, and am thinking those will be the next on the list.   The engine will be getting upgrades as well.  I've been driving it this winter here in Saskatchewan, like they say, enjoy em if you got em...
