Is this cap correct for a Canadian car?

My original wheels were 14", and the caps were similar to this, but a little different.

I'm wondering if the 15" wheel covers in Canada (which I assume existed by can't say I've ever owned) would look like these, or if Canada had yet-again-different hubcaps for 15" wheels?

Thanks,
Dave

I,ve never seen those in a 15 but that doesn't mean they don't exist. I never saw 15s on an Impala either till I got a set on a 69 WAGON. Also... don't canadian Pontiacs have a logo rather than PMD in the center?69 caprice estate 001.JPG

I've seen those caps in both 14" & 15" on Canadian cars, with both the "Pontiac" & "PMD" centers.  I like the PMD centers better.

It seems to me they were the correct wheel cover for 1969 Pontiacs with 15" wheels. That means all disk brake cars as well because they big B-body cars came with 15" wheels when disk brakes were ordered. I seem to remember seeing them on Grand Parisiennes usually, though I can't say for sure whether or not the PMD center cap was used. I can conclude by years of observation that most 1969 big Pontiacs came with drum brakes & 14" wheels.

BTW, for 1969 through 1972 the Grand Prix came with 14" wheels, and that is with standard front disk brakes. That is no Grand Prix wheel cover. I remember the 1969 Grand Prix wheel covers being more convex; that is to say the center stuck out while it tapered in close to the wheel as it moved outward towards the rim. They also had what appeared to be a deep set trim ring look to them.

Shown below are some of the 1969 U.S. Pontiac wheel covers. Note the P02 Grand Prix cover.

I still have never seen the PMD cap on a Canadian car, but for $299 for an NOS set who can refuse. I paid $1500 for an NOS set for my truck (with 30 bidders, so I wasn't the lone nut), so these were pretty cheap by comparison. Even if they sit on a shelf, they're likely not going down in value...

I bet they'd even snap on top of the rally wheels, though I won't try because it'd scratch them.

Could always change just the centers if not correct.

From the 1969 Canadian brochure:

So how did one go about getting 15" wheels with hubcaps, I wonder. Was there an option code for 15" steel wheels and hubcaps? Disc brakes required 15" wheels and clearly not ever disc brake car had rally wheels, so...

Also, the wire spokes (my goodness, to think of the stuff I've thrown away...) were only 14" I see. So if you got a 15" hubcap, I think it had to be this one.

When I bought my 68 LeMans it came with centers on the rally wheels that have the Pontiac symbol on them. I thought they probably should have PMD on them.Which should be on them?
