The car appears to be a U.S. commercial chassis with a Superior ambulance body. The faded lettering shows that it was in service in Surrey B.C. It would be neat to restore it and have it in service at a drag strip, but I'm not sure you are allowed to have an ambulance on a car chassis anymore (like some politician knows enough about cars to make such a decree).
