Molding pins

Let me know how many rivets you need. Rivets are free - they have sat in my storage for over 10 years so not likely I'll miss them or ever have a another need. We'll work out shipping.

J B Cold Weld epoxy: https://www.acklandsgrainger.com/en/product/JBW8276F?gclid=CO-VtcKxxs4CFcSGaQodlMUKmA&cm_mmc=PPC:GOOGLEPLAA-_-Adhesives-_-Glues%20and%20Cements-_-JBW8276F&AL!3645!3!50122882282!!!g!18283950120!&s_kwcid=AL!3645!3!50122882282!!!g!18283950120!&ef_id=U@Nr4gAAAaVRjSap:20160816164649:s

You can buy it at any hardware/department store. Just make sure the molding mounting point is clean and also the pin base.

One of the epoxy products we used in machining was Devcon metal filled epoxy....

works great and can be machined if needed.More expensive than most but a great product.

Once you open it George, is it reusable?

 Darryl,

We used the industrial size which was in two cans(4 lbs. ?)and mixed only the amount needed.

ITW%20DEVCONPLEXUS-38794_10130_DV_WebXL.

This small Devcon applicator looks to be the same as most epoxy products...what comes out is blended, mixed and applied.....

...then gets hard. The rest can be reuseable later. One thing we always did when expoxy products weren't used was to put them in a

fridge.....Devcon,Loc-tite, JB-weld,Crazy glue, was always stored in the fridge. Lengthened the life of product.

I've used  Decon products that were 10 years in the fridge and it still worked perfectly when mixed (might need to let it warm up some before using).

Cleaning the surface area where you use any of these epoxy products properly is a must. And roughing up the area where needed helps the bonding.

Acetone was the cleaner of choice for me. Nothing worse than the product lifting off the surface after doing all the work all because it wasn't clean.

I'll buy some of those rivets off of you (and pay for shipping). I still can't find my bag of pins.

A $15.00 donation to CP was made in Ted's name.
