 x2.     If the VIN tag is there, you can get a reproduction cowl tag by providing them the GM Canada documentation.   The reproduction companies won't participate in a fraud, but will make you something with proper documentation.

Good score Pascal, I love the hoods on those cars.    I've got some 14 x 7 Ralley II's that I blasted & primed if you're interested.

That is a nice car and it should clean up very well. As for the Uniroyal tires on the Rally II wheels, they look like they are original. See if they are FR70-14 size or perhaps even FR78-14. 15s were also available when the upgraded suspension was ordered (Y99?) Radial tuned Suspension was new stuff that year. By 1975 all Firebirds went up to 15" as the standard tire size.

Thanks everyone and Sorry for the late reply as I just got back from the Black Hills SD. I think the original tires would have been white walls and the original rally IIs that came with the car are 15 X 7s. I inspected and lubed the whole car this afternoon  and found one little retaining washer on each rear drums so they were never removed since new !!! Proof that the mileage is low and true :) axle ends are still shiny ... brakes are all original Delco Moraine. There is a water leak on the front passenger side (wet carpet after wash) maybe coming from cowl area old sealant ? Interior and trunk floors are solid but a little surface rust under carpet on driver's foot area, now scraped and oiled. Rear frame are solid, I only found a welded repair patch on the bottom of the driver side rear quarter, car was repainted once. Some front end assembly were done half fast so I will have to make it right, some bolts missing, darn body man ! Brand new jack never removed from trunk roof area, the second owner probably didn't even know that is where they store it on the Firebird, he manage to lose the battery and spare tire hold down brackets. The park brake mechanism at the front kick panel is seized from not being used and moisturized, handle broken and gone so I'll have to find one of those too and fuel gauge needle fell so not working. Overall I'm satisfied with my 74 Formula. Car was sold at Park Pontiac in June 1974 on Portage ave, Winnipeg.

Barry, they are Smooth, maybe finned for posi differential ?? As for the tires I'll look for the FR78-15 on them tomorrow, I forgot. This car is equipped with Radial Tuned Suspension, big sway bar in the front and rear sway bar as well :)
