Believe it or not I actually had to try a couple different ways with my phone as in holding it side ways or even upside down. Don't know if it was fluke but I've done it a couple times to correct it.
The iphone will tag the picture with the correct orientation when posting to facebook or viewing the pic etc but not other places like here.
this is what I do. Pain I know....but quick once used to it.
edit the picture, choose rotate image. Rotate 90° and save. Edit again and rotate again (270°) until correct then save. works every time. Don't ask me why.....
portrait orientation is button at the bottom. Landscape is button on the left I think...sometimes the camera will spin if at slight angle stuffing that up.
