Was ours the last "Indian Head" on a Pontiac?

Tangential to the main discussion, Mr. Ewen asked me if the high beam indicator on our cars was in the form of an Indian Head (which I confirmed).  He postulated that this might be the last time that the Indian Head appeared on a Pontiac.  Since I don't know Firebirds very well, I can't say for sure, but cannot think of a counter-example!

Anyone?

What year in your guesstimate would be the last year of the "Indian head" high beam dash light Dave? I know my '64 has it. Did it carry into the '70s?

I don't believe the 70 big cars had the Indian head, in the US anyway they switched to the rectangle. Therefore I think the 69 big car highbeam indicator was the last of the mohicans!

then this must be a Canadian vs US thing or a midyear change, because I've seen 70 American big cars with the rectangular light. Hmmm

You'll find all kinds of "anomalies" in Canadian Pontiacs vs US Pontiacs.

I have a (vague) memory of a rectangular indicator on a cluster though. Has anyone seen a 1970 with a rectangular indicator? Pic?

I've had at least a dozen 1970 ralley guage clusters from US Pontiac's, as well as a number of standard clusters from US Pontiac's, and I have never seen a rectangular high beam indicator.
