I'm looking at replacing the entire exhaust on my 66. I am considering a complete system in a 2.5", any suggestions appreciated...I was thinking of not running an H or X pipe, as I've heard they can be a pain for room under the car in some cases... thoughts here? More importantly I was going to piece meal my own exhaust together but wanted to ask if anyone knew of a set of mandrel tailpipes available for this car or someone in BC who could supply me these without having the car there.
Looked but couldn't find a complete kit, only found 1 company that made tailpipes (can't remember who). Ended up making my own system, took about 8-9 hrs. If tackling yourself you'll need a hoist for sure. My H pipe is just a exhaust band on 2 short stubs. I'm sure there's guys out there that could make you up a custom one, or maybe someone knows of a kit? Mine
I put one of those on my 65 Acadian 327 from Classic. Very impressed with the price, fit and customer service as well. They shipped me for the wrong year first time and more than made up for it when I got my second setup which was correct for my car.

One thing I would add, and Jerel's kit was likely the same-
The front exhaust pipes come in two pieces so it's cheaper and easier to ship. If it bothers you to have an extra connection that isn't there on an original exhaust pipe, this is not the kit for you.
