I saw that a while back, and as cool as that is, my first reaction is "why?"

A regular LS with a few upgraded parts and some boost is already capable of so much. Why make it longer, heavier etc?

 Agree. A lot of bucks for a long block. Then custom ECM to fire 12 cyl,wiring,fuel rails etc etc. As Carl states...bragging rights.
