Just a quick fun fact than I'm particularly pleased with...

US 1967 2+2 with High Output 428 ------- 376 HP. This is the highest factory horsepower rating of any 1967 US Pontiac.

Canadian Poncho 1967 2+2 with 427 ------- 385 HP!

And the bottom end in our 427 is a lot more reliable than the bottom end in that 428! Those things were plagued with bearing failure. I wish I had taken a picture of the oil pan on a 428 that I saw upside down in a wrecking yard years ago. The 428 oil pan looked like paper that had gone through a shredder!!! It looked like a whole pile of parts had been rotating inside between the pan and the crankshaft.
