In hindsight I probably should have bought PontiacRog's SD rag instead but I am open to learning. I used to avoid rust free cars like the plague because of the cost, now it doesn't phase me and a guy needs some way to make some extra money when he is retired. I think someone drove this car down the boat ramp, let it sit there and then parked it for 25 years. Put 3 hours in today but have to shut it down for the holidays and head North. Back at it next week and see if I can't knock out the drivers side.

Other than tinted windshield, power top and exterior colour cars are the same. Mine needs everything you are doing.This one may be the first not to be put back original for me.

That's an early car you have there Kevin.

I had serial # 00003 66 Beaumont for a while, an SD convert. I sold it without ever getting the documents for it. I wish I had, it would be nice to see how close to start of production your car is.

The worst part is the motor is the original numbers matching, so I am obligated to keep it, had it have been a random 283 it would be long ,and I me long gone.

Wow!! Looking great-that POR 15 is great stuff! Just be aware that when you use it inside the car watch out for grounding issues anywhere you attach a ground to the body-been there done that.

So I ran into a snag on passenger side, for anyone doing full quarters, the Goodmark passenger side is 3/8" shorter after the wheelwell than the drivers side  I can fix it by sectioning in my original but there will be some work involved. If I screw it up I will order an AMD, they are perfect from what I have heard.
