What are you wondering about? I can answer most any question you have, as I own it and put it back on the road after sitting for more than a decade in a field.

There is one in Ontario for almost twice the price that is not this nice.

Not questionning your intent or credibility its just that when I see a pic of a car without a hood and an engine with no carb I have to wonder if that is the present state of the car.

The hood off pic is 3 plus years ago. I just drove the car in from a buddies acerage, 30 miles out last night.

I don't have a current engine pic so I uploaded that one. If it's causing questions I can take a pic tomorrow as I am checking on a fuel delivery issue I was experiencing on the drive in.

I am open to any suggestions or questions to better present the car as I would really like to move it on to another owner and have no intent to misrepresent the Parisienne.

Thanks, Eric

I think the car looks like a good deal for your asking price, especially with some room to negotiate.  I've been tempted a few times, actually...

If the engine pic is raising questions, perhaps just a note in the ad saying exactly what you said here should reassure any interested buyers.

Possibly add a few pics showing the condition of the frame, underbody, and trunk would help as well.

The flywheel rattle might scare some people off who might be afraid that it is something worse, or who may not know what is involved in a flex plate replacement.

Love to see somebody on this forum get it, as I think your car is a diamond in the rough, and with original paint the buyer will know what they are getting much more than one that is shinier but possibly stuffed with bondo, rivets, etc...

Good luck!

I'm contemplating on it- my wife told me to just do it- as my best friend of 45 years just passed away and he had the identical car as his first car in the early '80's. He always talked about getting another one but never got the chance. My only issue would be how do I get it here from where it is? The flywheel thing is not an issue with me. That's minimal. Plus I need to fill a hole in the garage.........

Some under side of car pics. As I had the left side up to check fuel lines at the tank it was easier to take.

Eric, sorry if I stirred things up.
Actually your description is an honest one. I did initially wonder about the seat covers but you explained it honestly.
It's just that so often we see ads with glossy pics only to find out they don't represent the pile of parts sitting in the corner of the garage.
Good luck with your sale....perhaps I'll get to see it in Calgary next time I'm out that way.

Are my eyes deceiving me or is that a 12 bolt? Wishful thinking maybe.........

Oh no worry. What is life with out a little debate? Realistically I have no issue on being taken to task.

No your eyes are 20:20. 2.73:1 12 bolt. Not a race car by any stretch of the imagination.

Looks good and solid, especially for sitting outside in a field for 10 years.  If that had been here on the east coast, you would have been towing the car out in pieces, and the rest with a broom and shovel...

Good honest car for the money.

I have sold the 69 Parisienne that is noted in the thread. I now have some change ($$) to put into the 2+2. Thanks for all the positive feedback.
