What tires for low mile 66 Parisienne

Advice needed please. I want to keep a stock look as best I can while going with a radial tire. 14 wheels. Original tires are rotting away. We will be driving the car so good safe tires with a nice ride are what we need. Oh, and we want the look. Anybody know about the bias ply look radials? I hear Coker tires are not so good. Diamondback? The bias ply or pie crust look are nice but not essential right now. I may end up getting true bias ply tires down the road if/when we show the car but for now a nice riding radial fits the bill. Whitewall like in the pic is preferred. Gold line tires also crossed my mind. What are our choices for a correct looking tire for this car? Any and all comments appreciated as Ill be looking to buy ASAP. Thanks!

Yes, finding decent radial tires in 14" is tough.

I have not used the following but you may want to investigate.

I punched in 195/75R14 and saw this:

https://www.townfairtire.com/brand/tires/uniroyal/tiger-paw-awp-ii/195~75r14s/48403/

Now I always thought WSW meant White Side Wall but it mentions nothing about them other than WSW.

You excellent '66 Parisienne may have used 7.75-14 (radial equivalent 195/75R14) or 8.25-14 (equivalent to 205/75R14 radial or G78-14 belted).

Another option that has a cost and needs some lead time can be found here at Cali Whitewalls:

http://callitw.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=1_4&product_id=79

Please specify 1" whitewall, no wider.

Another one to check out and verify that it comes as a whitewall, Hancook (damn Chinese tires)

https://www.amazon.ca/Hankook-Optimo-H724-All-Season-Tire/

I hear you on the difficulty in finding radial whitewalls in 14" 75-series sizes. I have Firestone radials that were great, handled well, looked right, but went on in 1992. Can't find them any more.

I put the Hankook Optima 215/75/R14 white walls on my 68 2+2 a couple of years ago and I really like them.

These are still available in 14s and are pretty affordable.

My 2+2 cents.  Scott (LandShark ...)

I have the exact tires sitting in my garage for installation a little later this year.  Bought them out of the States and agree they are very reasonable.  I'm glad to hear you are happy with yours.

Thanks for all this so far. I took a look at the Hankooks online and they seem to get good reviews but they dont exactly look like classic tires. Ive heard although I dont know if I know what Im talking about here, that the Coker Silvertown radials are made in Mexico from old molds And are very inconsistent and quality. Otherwise I think they look good. There is also the radios that look like bias ply. Does anyone have any experience with either of these tires? The more correct the look the better for me.

Coker tires cant be that bad. Seen lots of guys around here with them and dont hear any complaints except a bit pricey. They have the look and for a few extra dollars youll be happy.

There is a company that advertises in Old Autos called Rocky Island Tire (Diamond Backs ) in Ontario. I have never dealt with them, but I did deal with Queensway Tire (Coker dealer) and was pleased with them.

I also run Hankook Optimo's. They are comfortable for city and highway driving. These hankook tires offer good traction on dry and wet roads.

My 62 has Hercules brand that I bought from a local tire dealer and they have worked well for me.
