Likely the problem is a jammed 3 on the tree.................. Clean it up and drive it with that nice patina and maybe some air freshener? Todd, will it fit in your garage?

Crazy thing is, it doesn't look rotten.

I remember dad having his 3-speed column shift lock up when we were visiting Toronto & dad had to go to the Parliament Building. He unjammed the column but his nice white shirt had plenty of underhood grime on it.

Our 66 Malibu wagon and 65 GMC pickup did that occasionally. My mom was a city girl but gladly embraced farm life when she married my dad. It was nothing for her to stop, pop the hood and line up the shift linkage on either of those vehicles when they locked up. As a matter of fact, she had never driven an automatic and in 1968 she suddenly became a widow at 48. A few years later when she ordered her 72 Malibu we had trouble twisting her arm but finally convinced her to order an automatic. She had to learn how to drive her Powerglide Malibu!

Problem solved, get someone to pick it up and get it running good and it can eventually get driven to CP World Headquarters.

Cost to get it here makes it prohibitive.
