can you still get ball joints that rivit in or something that looks the part


need to put new ball joints in the Beaumont and I would like them to look factory if possible

Guess you could. Would likely have to take the "A" frames off and press the rivets in to get them tight enough. Or you could grind the heads of bolts round so they look like rivets and have the nuts underneath where they won't show.

There are guys that can rivet them on easily, the thing that stands out is most of the replacement ball joints (upper ones) look a lot different than the original GM ones.

 64-65 Chevelle Beaumonts have a different upper A arm with greaseable bushings I believe

Rivet/bolts are available from Ames Performance. Look like rivet on top but threaded on bottom.Image_Display_htm.jpg

I saw Year One has a kit too, likely lots of the repro suppliers have them.
