Looks like a reasonable deal if it looks as good in person as it does in the pics.  Makes me wonder how it has gone down so much in price and still not sold.

 I think it's a decent car......

Even though it is a hardtop (Sports Sedan)......it's still a 4dr.....and not many people will buy a four door classic car.....or pay much for it, anyways...

Unfortunately......MOST 4drs's ultimate destiny....will be parts cars......to restore a 2dr.....or wagon, etc.    JMO

At this age I'd buy a 4 door if it was original and minty. Can't see the rear doors when you are driving it anyway

Don't shoot me but I'm lusting after this 60 Chrysler 4 door hardtop in Carl Stevenson's province:

And it's almost affordable to me.

Your comments are spot-on for most of the hobby.  I don't necessarily agree with those sentiments, but I do think it's a realistic assessment.

That said, it seems often that 4-doors are roughly 1/3 to half the price of a comparable 2-door hardtop, but I think it's too low.  And using a good 4-door as a parts car for a ratty 2-door seems a little wrong to me... but that's just me.  wink

I'd drive that one......The bubble back window and roofline......helps to make the rear doors almost disappear.

My uncle had a similar one....a 61 Windsor (4dr ht).....in the 60's,,,,It was silver on red......Not as striking as black......but had the phosphorescent dash....and a punch box shifter...as I recall..

I owned a 69 LeSabre 4 dr hdtp with only 33,000 miles on it and it never got any attention at meets or shows.
There's a 69 Merc Marquis 4 dr hdtp with only 15,000 miles advertised that I may go look at.
