1966 saginaw 4speed transmission for sale $300.00 it looks to be in great condition but I know nothing about other than it came with the project car I bought. I am going to keep it automatic so I have no need for the standard.
It looks to have one groove in the input splines, which indicates a 2.54:1 1st. That version is a stronger version with ball-bearing input shaft support. Closer gear spacing resulting from taller 1st means that it prefers a torque motor like a 327. Generally speaking over the years it was used behind 327s & 350s below 295 horses. That one must have been behind a 327-275 if it is in fact a '66. Medium duty.
