I don't remember the 350 being a very common option on these cars

There is a slightly newer version of one of these cars in Winnipeg - beige with the wood trim - I think it was listed for sale for around $9,000 this past summer

Buick 350 in there. Considered to be a huge bonus in this car stateside vs. standard 301 Pontiac, although US Pontiac guys loathed the use of a Buick engine. 

Canadian Safari cars would have come with 5.0 and 5.7 Corporate engine, the Chevrolet small block.
