As a teenager I thought the 1966 Dodge Charger was about the coolest car there was and this coronet being the basis for the Charger  is to my liking as well. Nice oolour combination in my opinion as well.

Beautiful car!!

Could it be a 318 Poly??

383 Coronets usually had 383 emblems, not just V8.

Or do they say 383 ?? I can't see for sure.

Thanks
Randy

Youd need a glass bubble to store it, humidity and temp controlled. Or would you drive it to clean out the carbon?

looks like it says V8, I thought 383's said that instead of V8

your correct on the 383 fender emblems. I had a 68 Charger ; my son had a 66 Charger both 383 cars;  no v8 emblems. Also the Ralle wheels are incorrect. Should be magnimm 500's all chrome with no trim rings ( '66, 67, & 68 ).  '69 was first year for trim rings

This says V8, google images shows a lot with the 383 numbers. Do these cars not have a data plate with a lot of detail, hard to clone?

The brochure shows 383.

The pre-'69 cars didn't have as much info on their data tag, IIRC, but you could definitely tell what engine it came with.

The build sheet under the back seat (usually) would tell a lot more.

I'm still on the fence as to whether this is an original low-mile car or a restoration, but with the info and photos given in the ad it's impossible to draw a conclusion.  When I read the ad I first thought it said 5000 km (?) on the 383, but now I'm not sure.

Either way it's a nice, presentable car... looks mint actually.  The price seems a little stiff, but not so bad if it's actually a 5000 mile survivor, and is actually a 383 car.
