65 Floor shift CP B Speedometer wanted.


Looking for a floor shift speedo from a 65 Canadian Pontiac B body. Looking for a unit without the shift indicator. I believe it must be 1965 (non circuit board).

Had a possible line on a parting out 65 CS, but the line went dead, even though the ad stays up? We all know how that goes.

It seems to me that it's a removable piece to convert the cluster to floor shift Mark but I'll try to check some of my pics etc when I get a chance later.

And I think a US cluster in 65-66 is the same as Canadian 65, so there's a real good chance my favourite yard in Minnesota has some of those.

As I think about it, it seems to me there's one tin piece that needs to be swapped in to your cluster to convert.

 FYI, it is a removable part, speedo assy is the same. Might even be the same with the circuit board too by just taking it off.

Turns out this is the speedo that's in the better dash bezel I got....

Next question...disbelief

Anyway, I'll probably make one good speedo out of the parts from the two. Now that I know I have a floor shift unit. I'd like to still see the lower mile odometer matching the ownership for the car when done.
