66 Air Cleaner Decal 427 Jet Flame

I am looking online to try to find the correct air cleaner decals for my 66.

I can find the "Pontiac 427" decal but underneath it would be a"JET FLAME 427 390 HORSEPOWER" and it appears nobody reproduces that one. Has anyone ever seen the Jet Flame decal reproduced listing the 390 horsepower? I can only find it for 67-68 with 385 horsepower.

Well, I have the 427 portion correct Carl. You can have that.

You could also use this Econo Jet script as a template to have the Jet Flame reproduced somewhere.

I hope you mean Morris. That's one of the ones I had reproduced in the early 80's!

I still have a couple somewhere but I can't find them since we moved to town.

An exacto knife or modelling knife can separate the two pieces you need and once placed back on the lid would be undetectable.

I got the ones for my '69 air cleaner from Bruce Levey. Website is:www.blaap.com. He has decals for Canadian Pontiacs in the Pontiac section. No pictures of what you are getting...but mine looked good!

I checked there but he didn't have the JET FLAME 390 HORSEPOWER did he? I couldn't find it there if he did.

Look at Jim Osborn reproduction they show the dt0474 as for 66. There is one on eBay .it shows as jet flame 390 hp I do not think it would say jet flame 427 390 hp.

Not for 66, at least according to the sales brochure.

I can't find the one on ebay Ian. Do you have a link?

And there should be no JET FLAME in 68 as far as I know. Maybe that DT0474 is right?

I agree, it would say "Jet-Flame 390 HP".    I have never seen the displacement in the name & hp decal.

Just search eBay with "jet flame 390 HP"

I will do that.

You need both? The "Four Two Seven" and the "390 HORSEPOWER" ?

Now that Ian pointed out that Jim Osborn has the 66 JET FLAME, I bet Bruce Levey has a misprint on the website and it's a 66 decal, not 68.
