Apparently that was the only 69 cheetah and the only SBC. On the other topic, my cousin had a 69 SD 396 post car, black on black. It was a late 70s show car.

Yes, it was a Winnipeg car. It popped up for sale in St Andrews in the early 90s (I think) without the engine. I called about it, and it sounded like his (button tufted interior, airbrushing). I've never personally seen the car. I can ask him if it was originally red. Around what year did you see it in Austin? Certainly a rare car! There was a red post car on the poncho site, maybe it's now the same one restored.
