In a parking lot in southwest Winnipeg this afternoon and I see this beautiful 66 Wildcat. As a take big strides towards it I see another Carl from this site (68_Grande) doing exactly the same thing! And by coincidence, while he and I are standing beside it admiring it the owner comes up so we spent some time talking to him about it. What a nice car.........., all red (wasn't that originally), nice paint, drop dead gorgeous interior. The current owner formerly owned the GM dealership in Thompson, Mb. He bought it from the original owner in B.C. and redid the car.
Beautiful car, the interior was red with buckets and console. Upholstery looked like new. Some power options and a 401 under the hood. Sounded quite nice when he fired it up and left the parking lot.
But......Carl beat me to getting a pic, which was kind of funny. I was going to get a pic of this beauty and as I raised my phone up to get the pic, out of the corner of my eye, I see Carl moving in to get the shot! LOL I didn't realize Carl was even there and we were both snapping pics at the same time!
Nice car, owner happily showed us under the hood.
