Steering wheel fitment

Does anyone know what year GM steering wheels will fit a '62? I'm looking for a temporary replacement for my cracked up original. I want to get it fixed and I don't want to cause further damage to it.

I have a chance at a late 70's Pontiac wheel, the 3 spoke they used in everything from Firebirds to Parisiennes, but I want to make sure it will fit before I do.

36 spline w .68 od, mid 70s splines are the same. The chart is from Grant steering wheel website.0D84123D-113E-4631-BCDF-A740F2D616F7.gif

Looks like 69-up is different. Takes different adapters from 58-68.

I think the wheel will actually bolt down correctly and be safe to use because the shaft and splines are the same. However it will look funny because the hub on the steering wheel (where it meets the column) will be a bigger diameter than the hub at the top of the column.
