Wanted: center link for 1966 Bonneville

Hi guys,

Looking for a center link for my 66 Bonneville. I can find them new in the US. But shipping is the cost of the part...

(Just noticed I posted it in the wrong forum topic, if mods can move to correct topic, thanks. Tying to use this on the phone)

Mike

I moved it for you Mike. You don't have an option of someone else putting an order together with yours or something like that?

There was a guy in Winnipeg that used to rebuilt the center links. His business was Mid-Canada Suspension. I steered a guy I know with a 69 Buick Wildcat there, and Mid-Canada was able to help him out, but that was 8 or 9 years ago.

I just googled them, they look like they're still in business, give them at try at 204-475-3399.

That would be Norm Dumontier. He's semi retired but still doing lots of old car stuff. Well worth the effort to give him a call Mike. This kind of part is exactly the kind of stuff he's real good at helping out.

Norm is still very active , and in fact I'm going to his ship this morning . He only works mornings till noon Mon - Saturday ( closed Wednesday, and Sunday ).  He does close for a few weeks  around Xmas and for a month around Feb/ March , so I would get ahold of him sooner than later .

Let me try giving him a call later on? Or Carl is it worth the price on the ebay auction? Shipping was around 80 for that one?
What do you think?

It can't hurt to try Norm. He's a really nice guy and very knowledgeable. When I needed a centre link a few years ago for a nephew's car he was just as cheap as any place I could find and I'd much rather deal with a guy like him vs a stranger.

If he can't help then that Ebay piece looks like a good option.

I have a new 65. Should fit but I am not sure. Let me know if interested. Shipping will be from Kitchener.

Bill.

I can check the parts books tonight to try to confirm but I'm pretty sure it fits.
