Looking for a rear seat speaker for a '66 Parisienne...

Greetings Poncho's :

Just wondered if anyone might happen to have a functional rear seat speaker for a '66 Parisienne that they might part with ?

I have the chrome speaker grille in the seat back, but somebody took the speaker out at some point in time.

If anyone has one at a reasonable price, my e-mail is as follows : flyinglow@nexicom.net

Thanks in advance to anyone who might care to reply !

Hi Jim I was wondering if you are absolutely looking for an original or will a working speaker of the correct dimensions do.

If I remember right from my 66 Grande project it just takes a regular oval 6x9 GM speaker of 10 ohms in that back seat mount.

That what I ending up using anyway.

I'll look around to see what I might have.

Yes, use the correct 10 ohm speaker if you don't want to damage your original radio.

The fact that there is a speaker grille in the back seat cushion of your Parisienne doesn't necessarily mean it came with a rear speaker, it means that it was roughed-in for one in case it was ordered new or the dealer up-sold a buyer one later.
