RE: CANADIAN REPRO DECALS AVAILABLE AGAIN FROM BEAUMONTGURU

I found this one. Once again, not a very accurate repro decal, at least by Beaumontguru standards!

Left side is my Strato Chief. Right side is a crappy repro.

I'll see if I can get some better pictures in a day or two. Right now it's on the hoist with a Beaumont under it. If I let the hoist down that big car would make a pancake out of that Beaumont!!! $330/ton though, not bad money.....

I'm trying to get confirmation that 1966 Canadian Chevrolet B body uses the same decal as the Strato Chief. If so I will likely have a customer for you, same guy as the Bendix decals.

It is the same as Canadian B body Chevrolet.

I'm going to try to get you some good pictures of it.

Perfect, that would be great. My friend is going to check his repro decal but I'll bet it's wrong. Betcha there is only one repro out there, the one I pictured with so many errors on it.

-All fonts are wrong

-Vertical arrow is solid black instead of just a border

-Jack on repro has a bumper hook on it

-CAUTION  VS CAUTION

-NOTE VS NOTE

Hi Dave, I've bought various decals from you in the past, but I need the Bendix brake booster decal and a Canadian coolant decal

I made the mistake of putting it on the rad support, but it goes on the spacer for small radiator applications.

It was an eBay repro decal so not exactly correct like yours anyway

Do you happen to have a Canadian 65 full size Chevy convertible jacking instructions trunk lid decal too?

Thanks, Ryan

OK, for sure.   i have the coolant and the bendix ones for sure.  send me a PM with your address again and i will get you a $ total.

The 65 convert jack decal i dont think i have done.  but if anyone has a good example of an original,  i would gladly do a decal for it.

Hi Dave,

I want to paint my inner fenders on my 68 2+2, so I want to replace the "Engine Oil" stickers at the same time.

Do you have something like this? It's part number 734791.

I have stickers on both sides in the engine bay. Is that normal?

Interesting. As far as I have seen the sticker was always on the side where the oil filler cap and dipstick were located.

I have seen them on both sides on chevelles-but just one decal though-and they were upside down so the technician can read when leaning over the fender.
Keep on Cruising!!!
Dave

Scott,  yes i have that oil change decal available. PM me your info.

Carl is correct that it was on the oil cap side usually(although on the 6 cyl cars it seems to be on the dipstick side), and upside down on the chevelles for sure.

Upside down on the 66 B body as well.

Dave, next time I see you I'd like another washer bottle decal for the other car now.

Does anybody have a picture of the placement of the oil change decal for a mid to late 60's fullsize car?
I've looked all over the internet and I can't find anything.

The 68 assembly manual doesn't list it but the 69 manual does. I can only guess it might be the same or similar?

Thank you Carl.

I have the 68 manual and you're right, it's not in there. I went through it last night.
This is great stuff.

Is there no hint of glue anywhere on your inner fender from the previous decal?

When I put the 427 in my car I put a new decal on the passenger fender but the glue on the driver's fender was a dead giveaway that the car had been a small block in its first life. I spent a ton of time getting that glue off there. It was a battle to do it without damaging the original paint where the glue was. I don't know what they used but that stuff was like concrete as far as durability!
