JB Weld on an outer door handle?

48 Fleetleader

So I was trying to open the driver's door the other day and it was frozen.  I didn't pull that hard but it snapped off right where it pivots, and now the splines are showing.  The metal looks porous and foamy like an Aero bar. Could I glue it back on with JB weld or should I replace it? Would it hold?

If not, does anyone have spare they'd sell me? Pictures are kind of blurry.

I'd say no. New handle time I think.

Thats what I was kind of thinking too. If it didn't hold, it would probably make it super difficult to take it off later too. I think I saw some on Ebay.

Not sure if mine are chrome or nickel plated, but they look pretty dull anyways

Maybe the members here could come up with one?

A quick look at eBay and I see none quite like this,
