66 Grande Questions

As most of you know I have a 66 Grande in my garage...but don't know much about them and am looking to get educated!!! A few questions on a SB Grande. To me this engine looks stock and nothing messed with. Has anyone seen a plug wire holder like this? Also I thought all the 283 Pontiac valve covers were the light blue. This one has a stock decal that is chevy orange??? Also notice the vacuum line to the booster...it has a support bracket on the valve cover. B body stuff...just don't recall seeing it??

Yes, to me this all looks 100% correct.  except for the short hose on the back of the carb,  the carb is some wierdo one too.

The first pic is the clip for the vacuum advance line from the carb to distributor.  the different carb is probably the reason for the clip not being in use anymore.

The PB clip is correct on the drivers side holding the PB hose.  all the looms see to be correct.

Always chevy orange,  never a blue block in canada in those years

Yes, totally agree with what Dave has said and to add to that, the ignition coil is a replacement because it's black. The original would have been the Canada-only aluminum case coil.
