E Brake Routing

Im putting new emergency brake cables on my 65 Custom Sport. The original was not working and missing parts. Ive got the rear cables and the one to the pedal mounted. I have the cable run through the adjuster and the tabs on the floor boards. I just cant figure where the hook to take up the slack goes. Looks like possibly through a hole in the transmission cross member. Can anyone remember off hand where it goes?

Yes, the intermediate cable utilizes a hook on the passenger side of crossmember.
