I plan to clean the fuse box of our 63 Lauretian with a wire brush and want to replace all the fuses. Our local auto electrician has the following fuses on offer:
2a, 3a, 5a, 10a, 15a, 20a, 25a, 30a (all in 6.3mm x 32mm 32V)
Do you have an owners manual with the car? It will list what fuses you need.
no, unfortunately I don't have a user manual.
You should get a 1961 shop manual and the supplement for the 1963, both the original GM Canada books. They are called Series 7000.
I have an extra supplement but maybe youll find someone who has both books? Ill check and see what i can find on fuses, is there anything stamped on the fuse box?
If you need a 2.5 amp fuse, Id use a 2 and see if it works ok.

I forget who posted it, or what they used but I recall someone here posting pictures before and after of their rusty fuse box and it turned our amazing. Maybe someone here can find where that was shown?

My car has Painless so existing fuse box is gone, but I have a stock box in my stash, i think this is the correct one for a 283. I checked my manuals, found this in the 1961 shop manual, no change in the 63 supplement, so should be the same fuse box in a 63. The numbers in the book dont agree exactly with the fuse box, so check the numbers on your fuse box and see what they agree with

I will try to find these Books.
The amp numbers in the book and on your fuse box are not the same as on my fuse box.

Re 3AG/AGC
That is the physical properties of the fuse, basically meaning the size. I don't think we see 3AG anymore, but you will definately see AGC fuses. AG stood for Automotive Glass.
I checked here for any Canadian Pontiac literature, didn't see any shop manuals. There is a PDF listing, site is from 2013, not sure if anything newer?
That Tempest CD would not be useful as I assume it is Tempest only.
From memory the 62 had no fuse for wipers, it had separate wiring from the motor to the switch, it was not wired through the fusebox, 61 would be the same so that could be why there is no fuse for the wipers in the 61 and there is on the 63. I couldn't read your Instruments fuse due to glare but otherthan a heater fuse they are the same or close to what I have hanging on my wall. If what I have there is from a 63, its a 63 convertible. I saved 2 or 3 old harnesses, that one may be from a 63 Corvette.
Hopefully someone else will chime in with a picture of their 1963 fuse box and we'll see what it looks like. I'll check my owners manual to see if that adds anything. Maybe ask for that over on the 1963 Forum above? You may get my traffic there?

You could also post here in the parts wanted forum for the 2 shop manuals and an owner's manual.

Rockauto has listed this Dave Graham manual for my car.
I don't think you can read anything from this fuse. But I'll check that again when I get the chance. (car is in another village)
@ Beaumont 4008
Yes this fuse box looks close to mine.
@Prefectca
