How can I wire under dash (led's) lights to come on when the doors are opened? I have the door switches already that work the dome light.... Can't find the wire leading to the dome light...
I'm going by memory but isn't it an orange and white pair that head up the A pillar on the driver's side? It seems to me you see it when you remove the left kick panel with the vent in it.

Hi... After some extenuating contortions I was able to find the orange/white plug heading up the DS A pillar. Wish I was 4'6" instead of 6'4" and old!!! There is a plug from the dash harness to the dome light harness located just above the parking brake release handle.
So, if I tie in to the Orange on the dome light side of the plug, will the new under dash lights come on when I open the doors?
The orange wire of the underdash light harness goes to unswitched power at the fuse block, and the white wires of the harness plug into the door switches to provide a ground for the bulbs. No need to fish around and find the dome light wire.
