I'm putting a tank suited for fuel injection in my car, so I have my old tank available. It looks to be in good shape to me, and came out of a running, driving car with no leaks. It does have a few minor dents. I priced a new tank at Rock Auto at $205 CAD + ship. How does $75 sound? If I'm way outta line on price, let me know, or better yet, make an offer. I'm in Hamilton, and based on size and former contents, I ain't shipping!
By the way, this is from an Impala... I was assuming will fit the Canadian full size Pontiacs, but I don't actually know. Does anybody know what these interchange with? I'm coming up with GM P/N 3867745, which looks to be 65-66 Chevs for sure, but not sure what else? The same GM P/N seems to cross reference with several different Spectra models for example (GM37A, GM37B, GM37C).
The only thing that will differ is the filler neck angle and possibly the length by a wee bit.
I put a new 65-66 Impala tank in my 65 without changing a thing. I could have bent the filler down a wee bit as it's a little high, but didn't bother. I can fill it no probs.

I think from what guys have said when they did this in the past, the tank body itself is identical between the two. I remember though that guys said they had to bend the filler neck a bit to put a Chevy tank into a Canadian Pontiac.
About 10 years ago I put a GM37K Spectra tank into my 66 Grande Parisienne and the fit, function and appearance was identical to the original.
