 If your car has the same tail lights as a 1949 Chevrolet its a Canadian car and Chevy skirts should work. I seem to remember that 49 and 50 are the same but 51 and 52 are different. 

if its got round tail lights its a US car. I have seen US cars that were assembled in Canada and have a GM Canada serial number plate but is still considered a n American Pontiac.
