Looks like the car Gillespie Pontiac in Welland had back in the 70s. Had the body shop strip and paint it. Clean car. The tri-power was added at the time. The Pontiac dealer in the next town could'nt be outdone, so he had a 63 GP done in white and added a tri-power. Was'nt as nice as the 66.

A vacuum gauge with triple-twos? That had to have been a 4-barrel 333-hp 389 car, retrofitted with tri-power.

Aftermarket (nice) aluminum crossflow radiator, I'd dust it with some black radiator paint. Did U.S. Pontiacs use crossflow rads in '66? I wouldn't be surprised. Canadian Pontiacs used downflow rads through '70.

I wonder how that car came into Canada. As a new import? Back in '66 if I were old enough I would have been tickled with a Canadian Grande Parisienne with a 427 with either 425 or 390 horsepower. The Grande Parisienne equivalent of the base Grand Prix engine would be a 396/325. From the exterior the Canadian & U.S 1966 & 67 GPs look almost the same, the wider track of the U.S. car being the quickest "tell" of a drive-by.
