Going from 14 inch to 15 inch rims - 1965 Pontiac Laurentian

Presently my 1965 Pontiac Laurentian car has 15 inch rims, but it came stocked with 14 inch rims. So now I am looking to buy one that will fit the car so I will have a spare. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just to clarify, you are looking for a stock 15" rim that will fit your car? Or an original 14" rim that fits your car?

the previous owner removed the stock 14" rim's and installed 15" so i don't have a spare now, just trying to find what 15" rim will work.

Ah, ok. 1970 or older full size Chev or Canadian Pontiac (15" rims for these are pretty rare though). Your better bet will be 73-77 Malibu, Cutlass, Lemans/Grand Prix, Skylark. They are still 4.75" bolt pattern you need and I am not certain but I think 15" rims were standard. There are some 77 and up Impalas with the 4.75" bolt pattern but be careful, as I think the 5.00" bolt pattern was more common on them.

I think I actually have one 15" straggler around here but shipping costs for it would likely ruin the sale.

By the way, I bet I am not the only one who would like to see your car featured at the top of this page one of these months.

On the '77-up Chevrolet Impalas & Canadian Pontiacs, the 4.75" bolt circle (which fits your car) was for sedans & coupes, the 5" bolt circle (not for your car) was for wagons, police & taxi plus any other B or C bodies with 6.6 litre V8s (Chevy truck 5-bolt Rally Wheels work for these). 1971-76 Big cars were all 5" bolt-circle.

You don't happen to have a pic of your present wheels you could post, do you? It might make this simple. Or perhaps not.

Maybe a new compact spare. How much could it be...

Oh good, hopefully it's coming soon then. Did you also send Todd a story at that time?

Robert, I don't recall getting any photos of your car. Can you resend them to canadianponcho@gmail.com?
Thanks
