I loved that, thanks for sharing! So interesting to see those older wartime houses when they were virtually new, loved the art deco style streetlights too and saw a travel trailer as well that almost looked made of wood? Noticed sidewalks weren't a common thing either in most of the neighborhoods.

If you look carefully, there were wires to the homes, but for some reason they didn't show very clearly in the video - also saw some transformers up in the poles.
Kinda looks like an early version of Google streetside...
There were some late 1940s cars (including the '49 or '50 Ford mentioned above). The last segment seemed to have more 1930s cars, so they may have not been taken in the same year.
One strange thing I noticed was that a lot of the houses seemed like they were due for new roof shingles...

A byproduct of the film colourization process. Notice how the parked car's colours seem to be iridescent, and the foliage on the trees disappears/appears as the driving car goes past.

Thanks for the explanation. As I was watching it, I was wondering why they went to the trouble of colourizing it at all, as the colours didn't appear realistic.

I thought the same thing, was going to comment on how a lot of the lawns looked like astroturf (was that even invented yet??) then realized it was a poor colourizing job.
