I'm looking for a good speedometer head for a 67 Beaumont. The key word is good. It must be one that is known to be accurate and cosmetically must be nice as well. The one currently in the car (not my car) looks beautiful but it's horribly inconsistent, as in it shows whatever speed it feels like at that moment.
I'm aware of the speedometer cables causing issues with the speedometer needle jumping around, that is not the issue here.
I'm aware of them not being accurate due to tire size being changed, gear ratio changed etc, that is not the issue here.
I'm aware they can be sent out for rebuild but we are hoping to find a good used speedometer head.
