1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon. Richmond, PEI

Good price and low KM's. These are fetching 12k USD on BAT. Funny this is the same area I found my minty 94 Park Ave.

Blast from the past- this thing has only 79000km on a 350 LT1 engine. This was the last year for the Roadmaster, it has leather interior like brand new inside, and a rear facing seat at the back. The car isn't mine so I won't be replying to any messages on here, please call Brendan at 902-432-0552 asking price is $5500 thanks

A beautiful bulbous beast!  The last of its kind. Hope it gets a good home.

Love mine.... 1994.... lots of power, almost 30mpg @70mph on the highway. Was sitting almost 8 years in the back 40 and was given to me as a gift by the wife of a great friend after he passed away back in late '16. I figured it to be full of mice and wanted the powertrain for my '58 Yeoman but it was a beauty inside so I decided to let it live and travel once again. Took it to NL for a month in '19, 13,000kms round trip and all of my 80yr old aunties fell in love with it. Oddly, people snapped pics of it where ever I went. At the toll in NS, the guy there was more interested in talking about the car than taking my money. haha Great taxi wagon... love it. 331,000kms and still runs great!

Randy always travels with me. (A Trooper concert was held at his farm before he passed so I bought a shirt and got the band members to sign AND Randy.. the shirt always lays on the passenger seat.)

A very fair price for that car if it's as shown and described.

I may have to go check it out. The 94 Accord left me at the side of the road today just outside of Charlottetown. Luckily my son was with me and has CAA. Luckily a friend of mine was home and could pick us up as the tow truck drivers are swamped and I still haven't seen the car arrive yet. And luckily it was 9c and sunny today so we didn't freeze waiting for help to arrive. Do you ever have a gut feeling somethings going to happen? That was me today and in fact I was telling my son on the way to town that I was going to replace the timing belt this summer when I pull it off the road. "Timing belt" has been popping into my head a lot lately. I'm sure that's what happened as the engine turns over quickly. And she's an interfference engine so there's likely bent valves. Not sure if she's worth fixing. It is a solid car. It doesn't really owe me anything. I paid 800 bucks three years ago for it. I just wasn't really looking to spend money on another car. My Park Ave is in winter storage buried behind two motorhomes and a VW.

That sucks, Todd.  Have you confirmed that it was a timing belt yet?

Not the belt but something that could be just as bad. The camshaft pulley bolt was loose and it appears the key wallowed and turned to dust. I ordered another key ($9 at Honda) and will try to get the debris out and install this new one without removing the pulley. If that's succesful then we'll see if we have bent valves. I found a thread on a Honda forum and this has happened to other owners with this 2.2 engine and it's a split as to how many folks had valve damage and who didnt.

I may have to do a hillibilly repair and inject some JB weld in the worn area of the cam so the key stays in place. Good times!

These are great cars - the last of the decent RWD GM cars IMO.

I have to confess that when the cars first came out, the back end styling did not appeal to me very much as I loved its more square bodied predecessor; but much like the collonade cars of the mid 70s, these cars have grown on me over time. This one looks particularly nice. And as Vince said, at 331,000 kms his car still runs excellently and can do a large road trip at anytime.   Plus it looks very good. How can you argue with success?

Don't think I've seen that before.  Is the key aluminum?  Looks like it corroded and turned to powder.

Hopefully it didn't move enough to cause valve interference.  If it's OK it might be a good time to tackle the timing belt?

Ad is gone, not surprised if it was anywhere near as good a condition as it looked, it could have been priced a lot higher.
