RE: My New Radio Show

We're on again tonight guys!  This week i thought I'd do a really easy to do show about the different stages of love most people experience in their lives.  i thought it would be just  fun stuff but as I went through the collection I kept finding songs that got  honest and kind of serious as the stages progress, so the show might get a bit more somber as it goes. Some real wisdom  or at least empathy to be heard in some of these songs though so I hope you can last for the whole  ride.

On the cheerful side there won't be a Christmas song to be heard (yet!)

And we're on again tonight!   This time I'm working my way though the long and growing list of some of the musicians who departed this year and doing a bit of a salute.

I'll be be going chronologically as the year went on so expect to hear some Jeff Beck, BTO, David Crosby, Burt Bacharach, David Lindley and more (unfortunately). This will be part one as there are just too many (Again, unfortunately) to stuff into one show. Next part will be in the New Year.  Talk to ya later!

Looking forward to it once again. And yes it seems as we get older the guys we like to listen to are fading faster than we like.

I hope I can at least take in part of it next week. But I'll be VERY disappointed if you don't play Bob and Doug's 12 Days of Christmas. BEER

Yes it was good but I was very disappointed in you that the most Canadian Christmas song ever (Bob and Doug) wasn't worthy.

You chose your wife's likes over your friend's likes? no

Alright its a new year and you guys can listen to the same old curmudgeon tonight if you have nothing better to do!  Tonight's show will be about overindulgence and its consequences to help  drive home those resolutions that are floating around in my head and maybe yours!

Same time and station! Two hours of morally good music! (Yeah right.)

You know guys I hate to say it, but it think I overdid it  last night with the songs about drinking too much. It was starting to depress even me.  Promise to try to mix it up a bit more...  A theme is one thing but don't beat it to death says my sweet wifey.

I guess I'll hold off on the funeral songs show for a while.

I don't know, I thought you developed the theme very well. I was amazed how many songs you found!

But if you're feeling bad about it, do a show with nothing but over the top upbeat stuff!

What I heard of it was great Ken but I confess to missing the last 30 minutes or so. Had the headset on and fell asleep on the couch. Woke up just in time to hear you sign off. It wasn't that the show was boring, not in the least. I got called to work at the jail last night at 11 PM and ended up doing a 13 hour shift. No matter how good your show is I likely would have fallen asleep tonight! Looking forward to next week's show.
