Back about 1977 one of our customers bought a 1966 Pontiac Strato Chief sedan and needed a safety inspection. This car was immaculate, really nice original paint and mint interior. Put it up on the hoist and about a foot and a half of the drivers side frame rail was gone! The floors still had paint and no rust. I dont know why the frame rusted so badly, maybe not painted from the factory?
