With the price of new cars and the amount of computer gadgetry in them I

think buying something like this to me makes sense as a daily driver.

Repair costs going north of $150 an hour and most people are basically left out of fixing their

own vehicle. Sure gas is expensive but so is the initial cost of a new car....and payment costs.

I think I'll be looking at a car just like this one when the time comes to renew

Pretty old girl. Loved that body style, and the colour combination.

That's exactly why I bought my 94 Park Avenue. She's loaded and great on fuel, easy to get parts for (mostly lol) and cost me only $3500.

Last week my daughter-in-law was given a pristine very low mileage 1987 Buick LeSabre

by an older gentleman who couldn't keep it any longer.

She spent $2000 changing some front end suspension, fluids and hoses.

It will be her daily driver.

I told her I'll take it if she didn't want it.

That 1979 Parisienne Brougham is when Pontiac was out-velouring Oldsmobile.

That must be one of the plainest Broughams ever built! No A/C, no cruise, no interior power options.

I would agree.

I have personally never seen one like that.
