Lambrecht Auction in 2013- 1963 Impala

I wasnt active on the site in 2013, did you follow it back in the day? Numerous cars were never sold by a Chevy dealer in Nebraska until the auction, this 1963 Impala was one of the cars. Quite a timepiece.

I know at least one of our members attended the auction and I think maybe even a couple more did?

Apparently a lot of the vehicles looked better in pictures than in person but the money paid for some of them was pretty crazy.

I remember it well and can't believe that was 10 years ago.

That was a very interesting sale and brings back some great, great memories. I took my Beaumont on a 2 week cruise from Kelowna to Morris, Manitoba and met some fine people including a Mr. Stevenson who housed me for a night. Dropped down from there over the border and took in the sale. It was so unique as my life has been just filled with auctions of all types since I was 6 years old. I have attended 100s of auctions and was privileged to build a 5100 square foot single floor house for one of the partners of Ritchie Brothers, the largest auction company in the world having their roots in Kelowna. From the sale I headed back west through the northern States going through Mt. Rushmore and near Sturgess. Also was interviewed by Brazilian TV while there and had posted it onthe site here. Like I mentioned a memorable auction and a memorable trip. Car ran perfectly.

In fact I was at a car auction this afternoon in Palm Springs.

While not a '63, there is a really nice '64 Impala for sale in Nova Scotia. Original paint, 283, nice interior. I'm surprised it's still available

$40k

2 door, 2 tone hard top, 46,858 miles, Original V8 283 cu in engine, Original Powerglide 2 speed automatic transmission, Original glass in excellent condition, Original paint and exterior panels in excellent condition, Original chrome and trim in very good condition, rust free floors and frame, factory steel wheels and hub caps. Original interior in excellent condition. In the same family since new. Has always been stored indoors.

Looks like plastic on the seats
